| Court Information: | 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays The Bibb County Probate Court, located on Mulberry Street in downtown Macon issues the permit. The permit office is downstairs one floor once you enter the courthouse. It is the same location that marriage licenses are issued. The probate court accepts cash or money order. If they cannot use digital prints, you only pay $20 to the probate court and you pay a $26 money order to the GBI.
