What to Bring: All applicants must furnish proof of Colquitt County residence such as a valid Georgia Driver's License, Georgia State ID Card or Voter Registration Card with current Colquitt County address. No Post office boxes accepted. Non-US citizens must furnish a Resident Alien ID card of other proof of lawful admission as a permanent resident in the USA.
Fees: Probate Court, Please bring cash, check or money order in the amount of $35.25 for the application fee and GCIC background check.
Sheriff's Office, 200 Veteran's Pkwy North, Moultrie, Georgia, (229)616-7430. Bring $5.00 cash for fingerprinting.
Application process takes approx. 20 - 30 minutes, and must be done in our office.
Allow us 2 -3 weeks for processing and you should receive your license at the address provided by you.
