All applicants must furnish proof of Colquitt County residence such as a valid Georgia Driver's License, Georgia State ID Card or Voter Registration Card with current Colquitt County address. Non-US citizens must furnish a Resident Alien ID card of other proof of lawful admission as a permanent resident in the USA.

Fees: Probate Court, Please bring cash, check or money order in the amount of $70.00 for the application fee and GCIC background check.

Sheriff's Office, 200 Veteran's Pkwy North, Moultrie, Georgia, (229)616-7430. There is no fee for fingerprinting.

Application process takes approx. 20 - 30 minutes, and must be done in our office.

Allow us 2 -3 weeks for processing and you should receive your license at the address provided by you.

Process:

Accepted my personal check no questions asked. Check written to CC Probate Court for 56.00. Needed only Georgia D.L. Sherriffs Dept fee for fingerprinting was 5.00 but they told me to forget about it.
