Process: | Apply at the county courthouse on the first floor (the guard will tell you the room number), pay a $61 dollar fee (cash or check, no debit or credit cards accepted), then go to the county jail (Hwy 116) to get fingerprints taken. The whole application process took about 30-45 minutes and I received my permit in less than 7 days. |

Process: | The probate court was friendly and efficient and partially filled out the form. They took an ink finger print and provided me a reciept to take to the county sheriff's office. I waited a short while before being digitaly finger printed at the sheriff's office. |
